There are no specific preparations that you need to follow on the day of your examination. Our office will call you on the day of your examination. Our office will call you prior to your appointment to discuss your medical history and to ensure that you will have a safe and successful experience with us. You may eat or drink as usual on the day of your appointment.

Some General Suggestions For Your MRI Appointment:

Please arrive at the MRI Center fifteen minutes prior to your appointment time.

Bring all insurance information and your written prescription for your MRI from your physician.

If you are a woman having a head or neck scan please refrain from wearing any makeup as it may contain metallic ingredients which will interfere with the scan.

If you are claustrophobic, please request a sedative to help with anxiety from your referring physician. Also, you are welcome to bring a friend with you.
